Manzana de las Luces

El sábado 22/2/14 con colegas de Urban Sketchers / en Español fuimos a la Manzana de Las Luces. Fue una salida un tanto rara ya que no nos dejaron dibujar en el claustro. La mayoría dibujamos en los alrededores. Luego de dibujar por un rato compartimos café, charlas e intercambio de dibujos.

Me senté en la Calle Perú al 200 para dibujar la medianera del CNBA que se ve perfectamente desde la calle Perú, ya que hay un estacionamiento. Con microfibra 005, Lamy EF y acuarelas, todo en el sitio, sobre libreta Brugge 12x19cm, 180grm en 1:30hs.

On Saturday 2/22/14 with fellow sketchers from Urban Sketchers / en Español went to the “Manzana de las Luces” (a historical, cultural, educational and religious place of the country). It was somewhat unusual, because the guards not let us draw in the cloister, so most of us draw around. After drawing for a while we shared coffee, conversation and exchange of drawings.

I sat at 200 Peru St. to draw the dividing wall of the CNBA that is clearly visible from there, as there is a parking lot. With fineliner 005, Lamy fountain pen with EF nib and watercolours on site, on Brugge sketchbook 12x19cm, 180grm. for around 90min.

Aniversario Caballito / Little Horse Anniversary:

El 15/02 el barrio de Caballito cumplió 193 años. Por este motivo invitaron a Norberto Dorantes a exponer sus croquis del barrio e invitar a los que quieran exponer también. Nos juntamos a las 13hs en el Parque Rivadavia para realizar dibujos para exponer a la tarde durante los festejos. En un solemne acto nos entregaron un diploma por la participación. Todo muy lindo, que acompañamos con unos panchos con coca.

Este primer croquis es de la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Caacupé, vista desde el parque Rivadavia. Al abrir mi mochila me di cuenta que me habia olvidado todos mis instrumentos de dibujo y revolviendo por suerte encontré una microfibra 005. Obviamente dibuje solo con eso. Luego en mi escritorio complete algunos bordes con microfibra 02 y 03 mas acuarelas. 1:30hs, en libreta Brugge 12x19cm, 180grm.

On 2/15 Caballito neighborhood fulfilled 193 years. Therefore Norberto Dorantes was invited to exhibit his sketches of this place and invite those who want to expose too. We meet at 1 pm in Parque Rivadavia for sketching and later show the production during the festivities. In a ceremony they gave us a certificate for participation. All was very nice, we accompany with some hot dogs and Coke.

This first sketch is about the Church of Nuestra Señora de Caacupé viewed from the Rivadavia park. When I opened my backpack I realized that I had forgotten all my drawing stuff and stirring luckily I found a 005 fineliner. Obviously draw with that alone. Later on my desk complete some profiles with 02 + 03 fineliners and watercolors. 1:30hs. on Brugge sketchbook 12x19cm, 180grm.

Esta vista también es desde el parque Rivadavia hacia los edificios sobre la calle Rosario frente al parque. Quería hacer un croquis rápido sin detenerme demasiado en detalles. En 30 min en libreta Brugge 12x19cm, 180grm.
